About the Author
Artist Dawn V. Taylor has been drawing since she could hold a pencil, finding that her favorite is ink and pencil drawing, although she paints too. The majority of her work is abstract. Born in New Port News, Virginia, she grew up in Lancaster, PA and now resides in Perry, Florida. She was mentored by her High School Art Teacher Mr. Art Harrington, who always encouraged her to work to her highest potential. After the encouragement of her friends and family, she began selling prints and has now created a coloring book called Abstract Imaginations (Volume 1). She attended Solanco High School, graduating in 1985 and then attended Lake Superior State University majoring in Marketing and Business. She is currently the Director of the Taylor County Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Office in Perry, Florida. In her free time, she draws, paints, reads and spends time with her family.
